His Way Only
♥ Handling Time and Stress ♥
~ John 9:4 ~
People have a need for intimate communication. Aside from this, there is also a need for us to know how to handle the demands on our time. " As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work." Most of us are trying to do more than God intends, but there is a better way ---- His way.♥
You are Priceless
♥ How Priceless are You? ♥
~ Luke 19:10 ~
There were one hundred sheep, one was lost. There were ten coins, one was lost. There were two sons, one was lost. (Luke 15)
The person who struggles with feelings of inadequacy, who feels as if he is never good enough to warrant and receive God's love, is pictured in these stories. Yet what that person doesn't understand is that God is far more interested in his coming to the Father than he is in being found by the Father. When we were lost, Jesus Christ came seeking and searching. "We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way." (Isaiah 53:6) But Jesus said, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."♥
You
Not being known doesn't stop the truth from being true.♥

New Dawn
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that you are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle in your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and praise love.
It is there for each and everyone.<3

Love, The Prophet
Almitra : Speak to us of Love.
And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them. And with a great voice he said :
Whe love beckons to you, follow him, though his ways are hard and steep. And when his wings enfold you yield to him, though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you. And when he speaks to you believe in him, though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning. Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun, so shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their cling to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself. He threshes you to make you naked. He sifts you to free you from your husks. He grinds you to whiteness. He kneads you until you are pliant ; and then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure, then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love's threshing-floor, into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed ; for love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say, "God is in my heart," but rather, "I am in the heart of God." And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. But if you love and most needs have desires, let these be your desires :
And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them. And with a great voice he said :

Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. But if you love and most needs have desires, let these be your desires :
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love ; and to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstacy.
To return home at eventide with gratitude ;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.♥

Fighting Spirit
A Competitive Spirit is not to be killed off but to be channeled where it matters most. Look for what is more important, look for areas that need attending and focus on them. Do not let pride, ego or carelessness get the better of you ; it can never save you from downfall. If you desire to change, change to win not against others but against yourself.♥
Simple Thoughts
Do not let your emotions lead you to act harshly and spontaneously. Shut your mouth and fake a smile, if necessary. If you are hurting and need to cry, do so in the dark and snap out of it quickly. Rant all you want but do so in writing as to not hurt anyone or yourself by your words. Nothing good comes from too much telling.♥
Loving Everyone
"Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned."
2 Kgs 21:17-29
Jn 13:34
Mt 5:43-48
"Love your enemies." A short statement, but so powerful! It is a little "mustard seed" that has generated a vast spiritual revolution. "Love your neighbor." There was never a commandment to "hate your enemy." Everyone simply took it for granted than an "enemy" must be excluded from the range of our love. After all, if we love him, he is not really an enemy! Expanding our understanding of whom to love and what it means to love. We could even say he is 'exploding' our understanding of love. Any limitation that we tend to place on love is exposed as invalid. Our love is to be like the love of the Father, who loves perfectly, without any limits.
The Father's love is universal and unstoppable ; it is pure, intense, unchanging. Jesus, who knows the love of the father better than anyone, says it is like 'sunshine.' When the sun shines brightly on a hot summer day, it warms everyone and everything, including those who hate the sun, and those who hate God. The only way to avoid being warmed on such a day is to hide from the sun. That is what the love of God is like. He loves the bad and the good. He loves his enemies. He loves 'us' when we behave like his enemies. The only way to avoid the love of God is to deliberately reject him. But this rejection do not stop God's love, just as hiding in a windowless basement does not stop the sun from shining.
"Pray for your persecutors." This gives us a practical way to see whether we are really fulfilling the commandment of love. How can we tell if we really love an enemy for whom we may have an intense feeling of dislike? How can we love him when we hate what he is doing to us? We discover the answer when we try to pray for him. To pray for an enemy or persecutor is to will what is good for him, to choose the good that God wants for him. If we cannot pray for our enemy, then we do not want God wants for someone, we do not love him.
This is the love Jesus is inviting us to practice : a love surpasses our natural preferences, a love that reflects God's own perfect, merciful live. He invites us to love as he loves, because he wants us to be perfect as he is perfect. We cannot generate this kind of morality out of our own unaided resources. It goes beyond our individual capacity. But living by Christian morality is not a lonely struggle : we have a deep awareness that we are part of one another and joined with Christ. We do not face God in lonely solitude and depending on our own resources alone. Our eyes, our ears, our hands ---- all are parts of the body ---- are different ; yet they share the one life of the body. Likewise we are all, though different, members of Christ's body ; the love in him is the love in us.♥

Growing Up
Life is a conspiracy to shower you with a non stop feast of interesting experiences, all of which are designed to help you grow your intelligence, shed your pretensions, and master the art of ingenious love. The world is crazy in love with you, wildly and innocently in love. Even now, thousand of secret helpers are conspiring to turn you into the beautiful curiosity you were born to be.<3

Possibility
Imagine everything you're experiencing now being a hundred times more wonderful. Bad turns good ---- good turns great. THAT IS WHAT IS POSSIBLE. In every community there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. In every heart there is the power to do it.♥

Trust, Worrisome
2 Chr 24:17-25
2 Cor 8:9
Mt 6:24-34
'Stop worrying!' Worry is a symptom of a deeper problem, lack of trust or weakness of faith . . . . When we give in to worry, we implicitly suspect plans for us might not be good enough. We feel fear that things might not work out right, so try to figure out ahead of time what we should do if things go wrong ---- when fails us. We try to control everything, so that mistakes will not disrupt our plans . . . . It sounds absurd, but that is because worrying is absurd. Who can take better care of us?
Jesus mentions some typical subjects of our worry : money, work, food clothing. We still tend to worry about these things. But, in modern times, people worry more than ever before. The "information age" has produced an age of anxiety. Now people worry about everything they hear on the news ---- oil prices, food shortages, taxes, terrorism, climate change . . . . What does all this worrying accomplish? Nothing!
What is the difference between anxiety and fear? It is a matter of usage ; people tend to use the word 'anxiety' in preference to 'fear' when it is a question of unlocated fear ---- a vague disquiet that goes looking for a reason to be fearful when there is none at hand. Or it is used to refer to impotent fear : When there is nothing you can do, when even running away is useless, because everything is out of your hands. If anxiety stays with you habitually it becomes part of you ; it gets to be like a second skin, coming between you and everything you do. If you are an anxious person, put a large (word)'red' "X" on today and come back to it again and again!
The Lord points to simple examples from the world of nature. Look at the birds in the sky. Look at the wild flowers. If the Father provides for them beautifully, "will he not provide much for you, O weak of faith?" Of course he will! Jesus is not telling us that we have no responsibility for the future. He is telling us not to live like unbelievers, who "are always running after these things." We have a Father in heaven who knows all that we need, so we have a basis for refusing to give in to useless anxiety.
The roots of worry can find their way into our hearts almost unnoticed when we begin to seek security in anything thus creating an interior division in ourselves. A problem of trying to "serve two master." I'm telling you, it is impossible to find peace with a divided heart. We cannot give ourselves to both. The part of us that trusts, but the part of that is relying on whatever . . . . , and worry begins to fill the gaps and eventually takes over our whole inner life. There is nothing wrong with other things, the point is that it makes a very poor substitute. Will you settle for a second best?
We cannot find solutions to our problems, personal or political, by relying on merely human means. The antidote to worry is prayer ---- not simply the words of prayer but the prayer of the heart, where we make the firm decision to accept the will of God in faith. We make faith decisions as we grow in TRUST, that we already knows all that we need. "Enough, then of worrying about tomorrow!" The Father will care for us tomorrow, just as he cares for us today.♥

Trees in Love
♥ We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved . . . . ♥
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast ----
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray ----
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair ----
Upon whose bosom snow has lain ----
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.♥
~ Trees, Joyce Kilmer ~
Light
Christ has no body now, but yours.
No hands, no feet on earth, but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which
Christ looks compassion into the world.
Yours are the feet with which
Christ walks to do good.
Yours are the hands with which
Christ blesses the world.
~ St. Teresa Avila ~
The darkness that poses a real threat to mankind, after all, is the fact that he can see and investigate tangible materials things, but cannot see where the world is going or whence it comes, where our own life is going, what is good and what is evil. If God and moral values, the difference between good and evil, remain in darkness, then all other 'lights,' that put such incredible technical feats within our reach, are not only progress but also dangers that put us and the world at risk.
~ Pope Benedict XVI ~
The generations of the 20th - 21st centuries have seen the efflorescence of the human genius ---- the state of the art developments in medical science and information technology, architecture and engineering, the exploration of natural resources and the outer space, cell phone and cyberspace communications, the phenomenon of mass media, the expansion of business and leisure, the art and technology of food and drink, and enjoyment of comfort and luxury. With progress, however, we have also seen the widening gap between the rich and the poor, environmental destruction, human rights violation, graft and corruption in government, killings and hostage taking of persons, nuclear bomb explosions, robberies, and more. It appears that there is a struggle between the human genius and the human spirit that is the image and likeness of God. We are being reminded that God desires to share divine life with us. It is in our constant standing before the presence of God that the meaning and fruitfulness of our earthly life shines. It is in our close and intimate friendship with Jesus that we find growth in our life of faith and deeds of love. It is in our journey toward holiness that we reach fullness of life as children of God. We are called to be holy. You are called to be holy.♥
Conscience
♥ Revenge, Repression, Forgiveness ♥
~ Matthew 6:14-15 ~
When you are victimized by wrongdoing, you either choose from these responses ---- revenge, repression, or forgiveness.
Most likely people choose revenge. But violence only begets more violence, and the cycle is unending. It results in continued pain and anger.
What about to repress how you feel about the incident? I don't think so repression will work. No why? . . . . Like a dormant volcano, it eventually erupts with a deadly spew that poisons life.
That leaves nothing but forgiveness. When you forgive someone, you release the anger and hostility and let God deal with the wrong . . . . His divine justice. ♥
Move On
You're looking good moving forward. It's so easy to follow with the majority, but if your principles doesn't fit with the crowd you have to stand on your own, it's not easy but for once and for all, Be Proud of Yourself and Keep Going.♥
Respect
A one way ticket, for two a way street. It's not something you could buy once you lose it. Rather, it's given but revocable. Handle it with care, damage is irreversible.♥
Words
Freedom of Information. But when to draw the line? Will you be man enough to stand on your own words? You can't take it back once it comes out from your mouth. The mere fact that it's been said, is 'something.' Words are supposedly calming, happy, positive, uplifting, and if it is just a thought . . . . what's Your Famous Last Word(s)?♥
